Correct petrol tank for 1969 Triumph Bonneville but will fit standard unit 650 Triumphs 1966-70 and also 1963-64. This slim line USA tank features excellent welds, thick gauge raw steel, 1/4 BSP thread petrol tap fittings, standard British petrol cap bung, styling strip fittings, front and rear mounts as per standard and badge thread inserts.

The Triumph slimline petrol tank is also perfect for custom bobbers and choppers. It can be modified or used as is. The motorcycles pictured are to demonstrate the product application and are not included in this sale.

Approx. measurements: From underneath 230mm widest point front, 120mm back. Actual length 540mm (with rear tab 544mm), Height 230mm. Actual width, 250mm front, 130mm rear. Tunnel 65mm wide. Tunnel height front 200, rear 50mm Front mounting bolts centre to centre 130mm apart.

This petrol tank has been manufactured to meet Trojan Classic Motorcycles specifications. This is not a cheap quality petrol tank as sold elsewhere. Most repro tanks are made from thin gauge steel prone to develop pin holes that cause paint to bubble and eventually leak fuel all over your paintwork. Thick gauge, raw steel ready for prep and paint. Pressure test before final prep is always recommended.
