Finally, after many years in the wilderness, a limited number of Genuine TR7, T140 fuel tanks are now available through Trojan Classic Motorcycles.

High quality and made in England - using the original tooling! These US-style teardrop tanks are correct for 1973-1978 model Triumphs with badges 82-9700/1, but can be made to fit all 1971 onwards Triumph and BSA oil-in-frame 650, 750 twins with some adjustments.

Approx. measurements:

Actual length 500mm, Height 215mm. Actual width, 270mm front, 150mm rear.

Tunnel 85mm wide. Tunnel height front 155, rear 75mm

Centre mount hole distance from front 240mm.

This Triumph tank can also be used for custom bobbers and choppers. It can be modified or used as is. The motorcycles pictured are to demonstrate the product application and are not included in this sale.

This petrol tank has been manufactured to meet Trojan Classic Motorcycles specifications.

This is not a cheap quality petrol tank as sold elsewhere. Most repro tanks are made from thin gauge steel prone to develop pin holes that cause paint to bubble and eventually leak fuel all over your paintwork.

Raw steel ready for prep and paint. Pressure test before final prep is always recommended.
